The northbound lane of I-77 near the Mahan area of Fayette County is shut down due to a tractor trailer accident. The accident is within a couple miles of the Kanawha County line.

All lanes of I-77 will be closed for about a half hour while crews remove the wrecked tractor-trailer, according to the DOT.
ORIGINAL STORY
The slow lane and shoulder of Interstate 77 South is closed in Jackson County this morning after a tractor-trailer wreck.
The truck is on the side of the road between mile markers 132 and 134, according to the West Virginia Department of Transportation.
The truck, which was pulling a flatbed trailer, lost at least some of its cargo, the DOT reported. There was no word what kind of cargo the truck was hauling.
The slow lane is expected to be closed all day while crews work to clean up the wreck, according to the DOT.
