3 face 1st-degree murder charges after body found in shallow Upshur County grave

Three men were arrested Tuesday after skeletal remains were found in a shallow grave in Upshur County.

Rodolpho Correa Villagomez, 32, of Buckhannon,  Robert Eugene Siron III, 30, of Weston, and Jesse Lee Heater, 28, of Buckhannon, were charged with first-degree murder Tuesday, according to a news release from the West Virginia State Police.

Police have identified the victim as Joshua Oberg, 29.

Troopers received information about a body being buried off of Bull run Road in Upshur County, the news release states. Troopers later found skeletal remains in a shallow grave Monday. An investigation followed with the help of Buckhannon Police and the FBI.
