According to Huntington Police, a woman reported she was walking in the alley in the 900 block of Monroe Avenue Tuesday evening when she was attacked from behind.
The suspect cut her left arm once with an unknown object and also cut her left thigh three times.
The suspect then stole her purse with her personal belongings and $273 in cash.
Anyone with more information is asked to call Huntington Police.
