Three escape massive fire in a home on Walnut Street in Kanawha County
The South Charleston Community Center is out of commission for a couple of days after fire started in the gym on Wednesday afternoon.
It began before 3 p.m., according to Kanawha County dispatchers, in the rear area of the center.
Firefighters had to evacuate the building.
Witnesses said there was visible smoke coming from an electrical box.
The fire crews were able to put out the fire before anyone was hurt.
