Firefighters in Charleston battled a blaze at an abandoned house on the city's west side early this morning.
The fire was contained to the one house located in an alley between Grant Street and Hunt Avenue, with no other surrounding homes damaged, according to early reports.
Fire crews from the West Side and South Hills stations were called to the scene just before 5 a.m.
According to the authorities, the fire appears to be suspicious. An investigator has been called to the scene.
