A Huntington man is accused of trying to force his way into an apartment early this morning.

According to police reports, Marlon Brookes Trawick tried to get into an apartment on Doulton Avenue at about 3:30 a.m.

He was walking away from the scene when police arrived, they said. The victim told police Trawick physically assaulted her.

When she tried to yell for help, he used a blanket to try and suffocate her, according to police.

Trawick was charged with burglary and assault during the commission of a felony.
