West Virginia's Hotdog Festival will take place July 28 at Pullman Square in downtown Huntington.

Activities include a hot dog eating contest, root beer chugging contest, all-breed dog races, annual wiener dog races at high noon, all-breed dog costume contest and pooch parade, dog/owner look-alike contest, car and truck show, Buns on Bikes Tour, homemade hot dog sauce competition, 5K Bun Run & Walk, live music and entertainment all day, kids contests and activities, displays, prizes, demonstrations and crafts.

Visitors will have an opportunity to sample as many hot dogs as they can eat. The festival showcases a dozen of the top hot dog businesses in the Tri-State region.
