Bryan Spangler, DOB 05/06/73, of Hurricane has turned himself in, according to Sgt. Michael Baylous.
The West Virginia State Police is looking for several people suspected in generator thefts during the June 29 derecho that knocked out power in the region.
Thirty-nine generators belonging to private companies and individuals were stolen, troopers said in a news release. Five of the stolen generators have been recovered, resulting in the arrests of nine suspects, according to the news release.
The suspects arrested for crimes related to the theft and/or possession of generators so far are:

Robert D. Buzzard, DOB 06/15/74, from Boone County
Jason E. Clay, DOB 11/04/82, from Boone County

Phillip D. Goff, DOB 04/20/66, from Lester
Robert J. Goff, DOB 11/08/64, from Lester
Arland Toler, DOB 11/07/64, from Hanover
Troy Landon Cline, DOB 04/21/86, from Oceana
An outstanding warrant still exists for Bryan Spangler, DOB 05/06/73, of Hurricane.
The West Virginia State Police is requesting that anyone with information relating to stolen generators to contact either their local State Police Detachment by phone or submit information through www.wvcrime.com. Information may be submitted anonymously.
