Cabell Midland High School's food and clothing pantry was open to the public Thursday.
It is part of a program with the Huntington Area Food Bank and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
The food pantry included canned goods and beverages.
Clothing items such as shirts, coats and prom dresses were available to those in need.
During the school year, the pantry will only be available to Cabell Midland students.
"We are not basing it off of an income level. We just feel if you need it and ask for it, we should be able to provide it for you," said Dana Holmstrand, Huntington Area Food Bank.
