No one should be upset because no one picked the correct numbers to win the large Powerball jackpot last night. It didn't stop people from walking up to the lottery outlets to buy a chance at a multi-million

If you're a bargain shopper, West Virginia's surplus property sale could have been just the place to pick up something special on Thursday.
The sale was set at the agency's warehouse in Dunbar. Everything from office furniture and computers, to tools and equipment was tagged for sale.
The manager said they tried to make it easy for people to pick up a great deal. "We want the public to realize that they can come here and they can purchase directly from us. Now they no longer have to place sealed bids. It used to be you had to bid on an item and then come back. Now you can pay the posted price that's listed on any item and leave with it the same day," said Elizabeth Perdue, the Surplus Property Manager.
Thursday's sale was intended to be a public appreciation day.
