The Clay Center hosts 'super hero' night

Posted: Updated:

The Clay Center for the Arts and Sciences hosted a super hero night on Thursday. Batgirl, Supergirl and even Spiderman himself made an appearance.

Parents brought their children out to learn about science, in a fun atmosphere. The Clay Center set up a radioactive spider web painting. Kids were also able to weave an artistic, glow-in-the-dark web.

For X-Men fans, there was Magneto's marvelous magnets demonstration and Storm's tornado lab, where kids got to create their own twister. "It's a great time for families to spend time together, learning and playing in our museum. And it's also a great time for kids to learn a little bit more about arts and science," said Leann Dickens with the Clay Center.
