Ohio State Patrol investigating motor vehicle accident in South - WOWK 13 Charleston, Huntington WV News, Weather, Sports

A South Point, Ohio, man was injured when he crashed into two homes during a weekend wreck in Lawrence County.

Robert E. Bayer, 80, was traveling east on County Road 1 when he lost control of his vehicle, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Bayer crashed into the two homes at about 4:30 a.m. Saturday. He struck a house and came to rest inside a mobile home. 

Bayer was air lifted to Cabell Huntington Hospital, according to troopers.  The extent of his injuries was not reported.

Both homes were damaged in the crash, troopers said. No injuries were reported.

The accident remains under investigation.
