It was a celebration of all things hot dogs at the West Virginia Hot Dog Festival in Huntington. Several hot dog vendors from the area prepared their specialty for hundreds of attendees.
There was live music and several events going on all day Saturday. It all kicked off with a 5K Run/Walk that started at 8 a.m.
One of the fan favorites was the "Hot Dog Festival Wiener Dog Race," which featured dozens of wiener dogs and their owners. Many other competitions included a hot dog eating, root beer chugging contest, and a homemade hot dog sauce competition.
This was the eighth year for the West Virginia Hot Dog Festival.
