A small plane made an emergency landing at Yeager Airport in Charleston Saturday.

Airport officials said a small plane took off from Washington Dulles Airport to Charleston and lost its left front wheel.

The flight crew was not aware the plane flew without the tire until it came to a landing, officials said.

The plane landed without incident.

The tire was found in Washington, D.C.
