The Cabell County Fair wrapped up Saturday night.
The cleanup was underway in Milton Sunday. Workers were busy taking down carnival rides and packing up booth displays.
Organizers estimate about 8,000 people attended the fair this year.
They say attendance was a bit down, due to the thunderstorms last week.
"The weather hurt us the first few days. Saturday's weather helped make up for some of that," said Brent Johnson, president of the Cabell County Fair.
Johnson said preparations and plans for next year's fair will begin Monday.
