Former West Virginia University
Guard Darryl 'Truck' Bryant is back in the Mountain State helping his
best friend, Kevin Jones, with a summer basketball camp.
Bryant is joining former WVU Guard Da'Sean Butler in helping former Mountaineer Kevin Jones hold his first ever basketball camp.
Jones had more than 180 kids respond to his first camp at George Washington High School in Charleston.
Bryant knows that he will play professional basketball overseas next season, he just does not know exactly where yet.
"I will go overseas for a year," Bryant said.
"I'm going to take less money because I am going to a top country, but I
am still trying to get to the NBA. Hopefully, I will go over there and
dominate and everything will be fine."
While Bryant is not exactly sure where he will play, he does expect that period of unknown to be coming to an end.
"I will know within the next week and a
half," Bryant said. "It's been day-to-day talking to my agent and seeing
what is going on."
Bryant scored 1,590 points in his four-year
college basketball career. He averaged 16.9 points and 3.1 rebounds per
game in his senior season last year.
