A new Public Television documentary received an Emmy for arts and Entertainment at the 48th Annual Ohio Valley regional Emmy Awards Saturday.
"Steven Caras: See Them Dance" was produced by John Witek and Deborah Novak of Huntington and presented by Arizona PBS.
The hour-long program chronicles the life and work of Steven Caras, a former New York city ballet dancer who went on to become one of the greatest dance photographers in the world.
The film shows behind-the-scenes photographs of some of the world's greatest ballet dancers.
Jay Flippin of Morehead, KY wrote the score and Eric Himes of Huntington was editor and Technical Director.
The documentary also took Grand Prize at the 45th annual Worldfest International Houston Film Festival.
