Girl's Night Out fundraiser against domestic violence

WOWK-TV is sponsoring Girls Night Out 2012 in Charleston.

Hundreds of women will gather Aug.9 for the largest women-only fundraiser in the Kanawha Valley.

Proceeds of the night will go to the YMCA Resolve Abuse Program, providing shelter, advocacy, counseling, food and other necessities to individuals in transition from a violent domestic situation.
 
The fundraiser is set for 6-11 p.m.  Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012 at Sunrise Mansion.
 
You must be be 21 to attend. A shuttle will be available from Bridge Road shops.
