
Fairview High School in Westwood, KY begins classes for the school year Thursday.
Teachers and staff have been making final preparations in anticipation of the first day of school.
Principal Garry McPeek said they have been going over new technology, talking about changes in the school handbook and making sure all classrooms are ready to go.
"We are extremely excited to get the school year started. We're going to have our largest enrollment in quite some time," said McPeek.
McPeek said about 875 students are enrolled.
Fairview High School will have a half-day on Thursday with classes ending at 12:10 p.m.
