Shawnee State University will have a Summer Preview Day Aug. 10, according to a news release from the university.
Organizers have put together the event to allow prospective students a chance to see the campus, learn about the school's academics and see what university life would be like.
Students who are considering attending the school beginning in the 2013 fall semester are encouraged to attend the event.
The event begins at 9:30 a.m. and is free to anyone interested in attending.
