A community rally's behind the family of a murder victim. Some Davis Creek community members in Lincoln County have organized two events for Daniel Cook's family.
Daniel Cook was found dead in the Laurel Fork area of Akol on July 11.
On August 4, the community will host a hot dog and bake sale at the McCorkle Community Center from 11 a.m.- 6 p.m. The following day on August 5, the community will host the Daniel Cook Benefit Poker Run at Blizzard's Custom Cycles in Davis Creek at 12:30 p.m.
All of the money raised will go to the family of Daniel Cook.
