Pound in Logan County is full

Posted: Updated:
LOGAN, West Virginia -

Volunteers at the Logan County Pound say the facility is full.

This means that animals must be adopted or fostered immediately to prevent some of them from having to be euthanized.

Volunteers say there are several hunting dogs at the pound. Twenty puppies were also dropped off at one time.

Volunteers have set up a Facebook page to help showcase the animals that are available for adoption. The adoption fee is $50.00 and there is also a $3.00 tax fee.  Once you have proof from a veterinarian that you have had the pet spayed or neutered, you will be able to get your deposit back.

The best time to adopt a pet is between 3:00 and 4:30 p.m. at the Logan County Pound or you can call 304-752-1876 to set up a better time.
