No one should be upset because no one picked the correct numbers to win the large Powerball jackpot last night. It didn't stop people from walking up to the lottery outlets to buy a chance at a multi-million
The Cora Rich Station was robbed on Tuesday morning according to West Virginia State Police.
Trooper J.E. Garren said that the robbery happened just after 6 a.m. when two men entered the store. He said that one was wearing a Santa Claus hat pulled down. The suspect had cut holes for the eyes, according to Garren. The other suspect had on a camouflage mask. Garren said that one of the suspects was carrying a knife. Troopers are reviewing surveillance video from inside the store to get more information about the suspects and the robbery.
Investigators said Tuesday that the suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash, beer and cigarettes.
The West Virginia State Police is investigating. Anyone with any information is asked to call 304-792-7200.
The Cora Rich Station was robbed on Sunday, July 22. That robbery also took place early in the morning. Garren said they haven't determined if the two incidents are related, or if it's the same set of suspects.
