Health Department to deliver color grades to South Charleston restaurants

Customers dining out at restaurants along Corridor G in Kanawha County will see something new, beginning Thursday.

The Kanawha-Charleston Health Department began implementing its new restaurant rating system.
       
Health inspectors will give restaurants along Corridor G and within South Charleston city limits the color-coded ratings starting Thursday.
     
The color green will signify "excellent compliance", yellow will mean "good compliance" and orange will mean "fair compliance."
