The Putnam County Parks and Recreation Board will be holding a Dog Swim on Monday, Sept. 3.
The swim is being held at Valley Wave Pool Park in Hurricane from 6:30 p.m.
Proceeds from the event will go towards the county's new animal shelter. Donations will be accepted to help the shelter.
