It's almost back to school time and Cabell Huntington Hospital is offering ways for kids and parents to be healthy.
During their Get Well Wednesday at the Huntington mall this week, they focused on packing a nutritious school lunch with a dietician from the hospital.
"This is going to educate parents on how to pack those lunch boxes with healthy options that will be tasty. It will give them energy that will get them through the day and give them nutrition," said Charles Shumaker with Cabell Huntington Hospital.
There were also free immunizations to get kids up to date with their shots from the Cabell-Huntington Health Department.
The hope is that parents and kids will learn something that keeps them healthy and informed before they go to school.
Next Get Well Wednesday will allow people to chat with a pediatric doctor who will answer general health questions.
