A Cabell County inmate has been charged with having drugs while in jail.

According to a criminal complaint, Tammi Renee Gibson was charged with transporting a controlled substance into jail.

A guard noticed her hiding something in her shirt and after searching her, they found a small bag that later tested for the drug Soboxone, the complaint states.

Gibson is an inmate in Western Regional Jail. She has been charged with violating her home confinement order.

Gibson remains in jail with a $10,000 bond.

She is scheduled to be in Cabell County Magistrate Court on Aug. 10.
