The monthly meeting for the Huntington Mayor's Committee on Persons with Disabilities had a very special guest Thursday.
Jan Lilly-Stewart, director of the Fair Shake Network talked about ways people can get involved in the program.
Jan is a founding member of the network that gives a voice to those with disabilities.
Liily-Stewart attended the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act in Washington 22 years ago and continues to be an advocate for disabled persons.
Workers at Mountain State Center for Independent Living discussed their informational booth which will be at Multifest this weekend and other upcoming events.
