A man was arrested Thursday after police said he bailed out of a truck during a chase following the theft of construction equipment.
Justin Brafford, 30, has been charged with two counts of grand larceny, fleeing and being a felon in possession of a firearm, according to the criminal complaint from the Barboursville Police Department.
Police spotted Brafford's truck on U.S. Route 60 Thursday and chased him
into the Huntington Mall parking lot where he bailed out crashing the
truck into a tree.
Brafford has been accused of stealing the construction equipment from two area hotels, the criminal complaint states
He was taken to the Western Regional Jail where he was being held in lieu of $80,000 bond.
