1 month later, Kanawha reflects on how to improve storm coverage

Kanawha County officials discussed Thursday how storm response can be improved for further events. 

With the June 29 derecho in mind, emergency response officials said the only issue that could have been improved was the number of generators hooked up and ready for use. 

Kanawha County amassed 500,000 bottles of water and had ice trucked in from Kentucky.
