Children had the opportunity to see their wishes come true on Friday in Kanawha County.

The West Virginia Oil Marketers and Grocers Association is working with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The two groups are also getting a great deal of support from the community to raise money by collecting donations at participating convenience stores and gas stations across West Virginia.

Those efforts are enabling Make-A-Wish to grant wishes for sick children.

Presentations were made on Friday at the GoMart on MacCorkle Avenue in Charleston.
