County leaders in Wirt County are making plans following the wake of the June 29 storms that hit our area.
Sheriff D. Keith Wilson Jr. said he is thinking about a way to identify houses that have people inside, who would need medical attention, immediately so officials can try to help them first.
He also says county leaders are thinking about ways to communicate with people, who have lost TV and radio signals. They are considering developing a plan to hand-deliver communications, if needed.
