The First Friday Downtown Live and Art Walk is a summer series that brings hundreds of residents to downtown Ashland.
Friday, people got to enjoy live music, different art vendors, a car show, and other activities.
It was also the night for the second annual Night Moves 5K Run/Walk. The event was hosted by Ashland Main Street and organizers wanted to make this run a little unique by having it in the evening. The weather was cool and overcast for the race that drew hundreds of runners.
"I believe in running because it's healthy and to let people know that they don't have to have sedentary life styles," said Danny Craig, Director of Ashland Main Street.
Ashland Main Street is an organization that helps to plan events that revitalize the city of Ashland.
