Mountaineers have full complement of arms in camp

For the first time in a while, the Mountaineers have their full complement of quarterbacks in camp. Five arms in all.

Through the spring they were so short handed that Head Coach Dana Holgorsen had to heave a few. According to Quarterback Coach Jake Spavital, the more arms the better.

"The main thing that I'm happy with is we're cutting the throwing reps off Paul and Geno and Ford and for a whole fall camp that can be pretty taxing on a quarterbacks," said Spavital, "We got two other quarterbacks out there. New faces, new arms and they can throw it around pretty good and I think Geno's gonna be a little fresher going into the season opener against Marshall."

That season opener will kick off a noon Sept. 1.
