Three escape massive fire in a home on Walnut Street in Kanawha County

County sheriff's deputies are
investigating an early morning shooting that sent one man to the hospital.
Josh Treadway, 27, of Oak Hill, was shot in the lower
leg, deputies said. Sheriff's deputies were notified at about 1:29 a.m. that Treadway was brought into Plateau
Medical Center.
When deputies arrived, they learned Treadway had been
shot 30 minutes earlier in the Ansted area. Treadway told police who the
suspected shooter was. That name has not been released.
Treadway was transferred to Raleigh
General Hospital
where he underwent surgery, police said. The wound is not considered
life-threatening but Treadway's condition was not released.
When deputies left the hospital, they found and spoke
with the suspect in the shooting as well as other potential witnesses, deputies
said. They also checked the area where the shooting is reported to have
happened for evidence.
No charges were filed this morning. Detective
Cpl. J.M Pack along with deputies N.D. Hall and G.W. Rinehart of the sheriff's
office are investigating.
