Three escape massive fire in a home on Walnut Street in Kanawha County
Three Kentucky residents were arrested Sunday after the discovery of a suspected portable meth lab in Boyd County.
Willard Hunt, 28, of Ashland, Jason Fowler, 33, of Ironville, and Tina Ferry, 35, of Ashland, were charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, according to Boyd County Sheriff's deputies.
Hunt also was charged with fleeing and evading police and was served with six outstanding warrants, deputies said.
Deputies found the suspected meth lab behind an abandoned building in Ironville, they said.
Fowler was arrested at the site of the suspected lab and the other two subjects were found hiding in a residence near the building, according to deputies.
They were taken to the Boyd County Detention Center.
