A Community Facilities Grant has been awarded to the East Fork Volunteer Fire Department, Inc., in Mingo County, according to a news release from State Director Bobby Lewis.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development approved the grant, which is worth $15,700.
The money will be used to help buy a new HVAC for the fire hall.
