All summer, Cabell Midland High School has been offering a food and clothing pantry for families in need. The Knights' great Hall is part of a pilot program for the USDA in partnership with the Huntington Area Food Bank, according to a press release.
Students would normally take advantage of the pantry during the school year by notifying a teacher of their need, but the program has been open during the summer months for the public.
The Knights' Great Hall will be open one last time to the public on August 9 from 12 p.m.- 4 p.m. Starting August 10, the pantry will only be open to Cabell Midland students and their families.
For more information on the pantry, call Cabell Midland High School at (304) 743-7404.
