No one should be upset because no one picked the correct numbers to win the large Powerball jackpot last night. It didn't stop people from walking up to the lottery outlets to buy a chance at a multi-million

One local celebrity is using his status to help an area food bank rebound after the storms depleted their supply.
Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr. approached the Huntington Area Food Bank and offered to help. When people donate five or more items to the food bank, they can receive a voucher to see his concert at the West Virginia State Fair in Lewisburg.
The food bank is grateful for the help because the recent storms has left the food supply at a critically low level.
"Any type of support that you don't expect is a blessing. When someone with a celebrity status like Landau reaches out, that's something that you need to cherish,"said Scott Frasure with the Huntington Area Food Bank.
The Huntington Area Food Bank supplies 17 counties and dozens of pantries with food around the tri-state.
