Those planning on driving on the Interstates in the Kanawha Valley today through Saturday could experiences more delays.
Road work is planned for Interstates 77 and 64, according to the West Virginia Department of Transportation. Similar work earlier this week caused major delays at times.
Lanes of I-64 and I-77 are scheduled to be closed for patching, according to the DOT. The locations and times are:
I-77 North at mile marker 96: slow lane closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday
I-77 South, Leon Sullivan Way on ramp: closed from 9-11 p.m. Thursday
I-77 South, Greenbrier Street off ramp: closed from 1-3 a.m. Friday
I-77 South, Greenbrier Street on ramp: closed from 8 p.m. to midnight Friday
I-77 South, 35th Street off ramp: closed from 1-2 a.m. Saturday.
I-64 West between mile markers 49.5 and 48: slow lane closed 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday
I-64 East, Washington Street on ramp: closed from 8 p.m. Friday through 6 a.m. Aug. 13
