Woman killed after being run over at Kanawha City convenience store

 A 75-year old woman was killed after being run over by a truck at a convenience store in Kanawha City Thursday.

The wreck happened at the 7-Eleven in the 3900 block of MacCorkle Avenue in Kanawha City, according to the Charleston Police Department.

Joyce Kendall had gone back to the store to look for the gas cap to her car, police said. She had left earlier after discovering the pumps were closed. As she bent down to pick up her gas cap, a Terminix truck driver was leaving the 7-Eleven and ran over her leg.

She later died at the hospital, according to police.
