A police pursuit along Interstate 79 in Kanawha County led an arrest on drug charges at about 8 a.m. Friday.
Kanawha County Sheriff's deputies said there was a problem with the registration of the vehicle, and the driver wouldn't stop.
Deputies chased the car to near the Big Chimney exit of I-79. There were two people in the car, male driver and a female passenger. Their names were not released.
Deputies uncovered marijuana and meth-making materials, they said.
Charges have been filed, including driving with a revoked license and multiple traffic offences, according to deputies. The female passenger has not been charged.
