The West Virginia Broadcasters Association (WVBA) announced in a press release that they will host the 2012 WVBA Gubernatorial Debate.
The debate will be aired live between Democratic candidate Earl Ray Tomblin and Republican candidate Bill Maloney for the position of West Virginia's governor. It will be held on October 9 at 7 p.m. The debate will air live across the state on television and radio and will be sponsored by AARP.
The WVBA hopes the debate will allow West Virginians to familiarize themselves with the two candidates to make a more informed vote on Election Day.
