A Roane County man was sentenced to four years and three months in federal prison for distribution of methamphetamine, according to a press release from U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin.
Carl Metheney, 58, pleaded guilty to the charge in November.
Metheney told authorities he sold meth to a confidential informant.
The West Virginia State Police and the Drug Enforcement Administration conducted the investigation.
