Five people are behind bars after a drug sweep in Mingo County.
Williamson Police Chief Dave Rockel said an officer executed a search warrant along Vinson Street on Thursday. The officer found cocaine, guns, marijuana, and cash.
The suspects tried to run away but were caught, Rockel said.
Robert Wilson, Christina Tidwell, Albert Childress, and a unknown man that goes by "black" were charged with possession with intent to deliver cocaine and marijuana and conspiracy to deliver cocaine and marijuana.
Rockel said the arrests lead police to get another search warrant that was served a local hotel.
There, he said investigators found powder cocaine, a large quantity of oxycontin, marijuana, and drug packaging materials.
Rockel said the room was registered to Brittiney Cousin. She has been charged with possession with intent to deliver cocaine and oxycontin and conspiracy to commit cocaine and oxycontin.
They will have their preliminary hearings within the next 10 days.
