A Wood County man could face a stiff penalty when he is sentenced on federal charges of distributing oxycodone.
Nathanael Thomas, 23, told authorities he sold 13 oxycodone pills to a police informant for $400, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney's Office.
Thomas could spend 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine, the news release states. He is set to be sentenced Dec. 5, 2012.
The Parkersburg Violent Crime and Narcotics Task Force conducted the investigation.
