Mountwest Community & Technical College is hosting an open house of their new campus Saturday, Aug. 11.
According to a press release, a special ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. followed by a celebration.
The celebration will include building tours of the new campus, refreshments, vendor booths, and games and inflatables for kids.
The new Mountwest campus presents many new opportunities with over 115,000 square feet of technologically-advanced and adaptable space.
Attendees and speakers include: Mark Bugher, Huntington Regional Chamber of Commerce, Dr. Keith Cotroneo, President, Mountwest, Bob Brown, CTC System of West Virginia, Dr. Greg Morris, CTC System of West VirginiaWest Virginia, Sen, Robert Plymale, and U.S. Congressman Nick Joe Rahall, D-W.Va.
Cabell Huntington Hospital is the sponsor of this free event open to the community.
