Work is continuing at a new fire station in Sissonville.
A fire destroyed the main fire station there more than a year ago.
The department had insurance, but not enough to the losses, which included the building, three fully equipped fire trucks, and office facilities.
Fire officials hope brick apparatus is fully installed by the end of this week.
