Three escape massive fire in a home on Walnut Street in Kanawha County
An Ironton teenager is dead following a car crash Sunday.
The Ironton Police department says they responded to the scene in the 2400 block of South Eighth Street around 8 a.m.
Officers say the driver of a 1995 GMC truck struck a car knocking it into a yard, then hit two other cars before coming to a stop.
The driver was trapped and had to be cut out using the jaws of life.
The 16-year-old driver was taken to St. Mary's Medical center where he was pronounced dead.
Ohio Highway Patrol, Ironton Police, and Ironton Fire Department responded to the scene.
The victim's name is being withheld pending notification of family members.
