It boggles the mind what the good ol' boys and politicians in this state will stoop to when they make one of their power grabs.

Despite a clear ruling from the U.S. Supreme Court, West Virginia still limits how much can be spent on messages that are independent of a political candidate.

This is not about informing voters; this is about protecting the status quo and elected representatives who see their office as a birthright.

It's a sad day when politics trumps the U.S. Constitution.
